Jr. Flames Fall Program - 3 and 4 Year Olds
The Jr Flames Learn To Play Program is designed for kids aged 3 and 4. This program provides an outlet for beginner players to gain an insight into the game of hockey. BVHS coaches will teach these young players the FUNdamentals of the game through station based activities and small area games. During each ice session our instructors will focus on a variety of skill sets including forward and backward skating, basic balance, skating, turning, puck control, passing and shooting.
For the three year olds, we do encourage that a parent comes on ice to assist with their child.
Players need to be able to get up and down on their own without assistance and they should be able to shuffle across the ice without assistance prior to registering for this program.
Our program will be lead by Trevor Morgan along with paid coaches. We also welcome parent volunteer coaches who would like to come on ice and help coach. If you would like to be a volunteer coach or a have any questions with this program please email Trevor Morgan - mho@bvhs.ca.
The Final Ice Time of the Program includes a Cross Ice Feature Game with Player Introductions, O' Canada, and a light show!!!
The Fall Program will be limited to 50 Participants per each session.
